Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 7, 2026

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how RacquetHub USA ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects your personal information when you use Racquet-Hub.com ("the Platform"). It applies to players, family account holders, club owners, and trainers.

This policy should be read alongside our Terms & Conditions. By using the Platform, you agree to the practices described here.

2. Information We Collect

Account information

  • Email address and a securely hashed password (we never store your password in readable form)
  • First name, last name, and display name
  • Where you sign in with Google, your Google account identifier, email address, and name
  • Two-factor authentication settings, where you enable them

Profile information

  • Profile photo, biography, gender, date of birth, and phone number, where you provide them
  • Preferred sports, skill levels and ratings, and whether you are open to game invitations
  • Your play area, given as a postal code, and an approximate home location used to calculate distance

Booking and transaction information

  • Courts you book, times, participants, and any notes you add
  • Payment records, amounts, refunds, and wallet balances
  • Card details are entered with and held by our payment processor. They do not reach or get stored on our servers.

Club and trainer information

  • For club owners: business name, address, contact details, and facility information
  • For trainers: biography, certifications, experience, hourly rates, and availability

Technical information

  • Log data including IP address, browser type, and pages accessed, used for security and diagnostics
  • Authentication tokens stored in your browser to keep you signed in

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To create and administer your account and verify your email address
  • To show nearby clubs, courts, players, and trainers based on the location you provide
  • To process bookings and payments, and to pay clubs and trainers their share
  • To send transactional messages such as verification codes, booking confirmations, password resets, and receipts
  • To match you with other players according to sport, skill level, and distance
  • To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and unauthorised access
  • To comply with legal obligations

4. Location Information

We use the postal code you enter to work out approximate coordinates so we can show results near you and calculate distances. We do not continuously track your device location, and we do not collect precise GPS data in the background.

Postal codes may be sent to Google's geocoding service to convert them into coordinates. Clubs are shown on a map provided by Google Maps.

5. What Other Users Can See

Some profile information is visible to other users so the Platform can work as intended:

  • Players searching for partners can see your first name, last initial, profile photo, biography, sports, skill level, gender if you provided it, and approximate distance from them
  • Club owners can see booking details for their own club, including who booked and when
  • Trainers can see enrolment details for their own classes

Your email address, phone number, password, and exact address are never shown to other users. You can limit discoverability by turning off openness to invitations in your profile settings.

6. Sharing With Third Parties

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us operate the Platform:

  • Payment processing — to take payments and pay clubs and trainers
  • Google — for optional sign-in, maps, and converting postal codes to coordinates
  • Email delivery — to send verification, booking, and account emails
  • Hosting and infrastructure — to run and store the Platform

We may also disclose information where required by law, to enforce our Terms, or to protect the rights and safety of our users.

7. Data Retention

We keep your account information for as long as your account is active. Booking and payment records are retained afterwards where needed for tax, accounting, and dispute resolution. When you ask us to delete your account, we remove or anonymise your personal information except where we are required to keep it.

8. Security

We protect your information using encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, access controls that restrict data to the account it belongs to, and optional two-factor authentication. No system can be guaranteed completely secure, and we cannot promise absolute security.

9. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you
  • Correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete
  • Request deletion of your account and associated data
  • Object to or restrict certain processing
  • Receive a copy of your data in a portable format
  • Opt out of non-essential communications

California residents have specific rights under the CCPA, including the right to know what personal information is collected and to request its deletion. We do not sell personal information as defined by the CCPA.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below.

10. Children's Privacy

The Platform is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. Minors may be added to a family account by a parent or guardian, who is responsible for that information and consents to its processing. If you believe a child has given us information without such consent, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Cookies and Local Storage

We use browser storage to keep you signed in and to remember preferences. These are necessary for the Platform to function. Third-party services such as maps and payments may set their own cookies, governed by their own privacy policies.

12. International Users

The Platform is operated from the United States, and your information is processed and stored there. If you access it from elsewhere, you understand that your information will be transferred to the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your country.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will revise the "Last updated" date above and, where changes are significant, notify you through the Platform or by email. Continuing to use the Platform after a change means you accept the updated policy.
